Merry Christmas!

As Christmas draws near, holiday events with friends and family increase, and I cherish those times. I know it’s likely much the same for all of you, with holiday travels, special traditions, and so forth.

As part of an effort to savor the season and reduce a little of the busyness, I’m going to be taking a sabbatical from blogging until the New Year begins.

Have a blessed Christmas season as you celebrate Emmanuel, God with us! See in you in 2011!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

Isaiah 9:6-7 (NIV)
