A Small Change

I’m about to enact a bit of a change here on the blog, so I thought I should let you know why. Some of you are already aware that I’ve been dealing with chronic health issues for years (finally diagnosed in December as chronic Lymes disease). Although I’m in the process of undergoing treatments, it’s been a tough year so far, and I’m looking for things to trim so I can focus on getting better.

So I’m cutting back to two days a week on the blog, and I’ll be posting on Monday and Wednesday. It’s not a huge change, maybe not all that noticeable to some, but I wanted to let those of you who regularly appear here that there will be a bit of a shift. I’m hoping it won’t be too long before I’m back to my regular Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule (can you tell I like order and consistency?).

All that being said, I’ll still be around, and I hope you will be too. I value the conversation that happens here, and I’ve learned a great deal from all of you. Thanks for reading!

  1. Sarah, so sorry for your struggles with health issues. Lyme disease is such a terrible thing. I’ll pray for you when I see your posts come into my inbox, asking God to heal you.

Sarah, praying for you! Bless you!
For the time being then, I’ll expect your posts only on those two days. Thank you for the quality of your writing and depth and scope of all you present to us!

  3. I understand pacing yourself, that’s the way I think of it. The writer’s reference blog I’m part of only blogs two days a week, and has one contest a month. But I’d rather be consistent at 2 days, then blog everyday and lower the quality. Hope your health improves quickly!

  4. I admire you for creating such deep and informative posts while dealing with chronic health issues. I’d never have the discipline to keep at it much less produce the top notch articles you consistently put forth. Hats off to you, and I hope this little breather will aid in your journey toward better health.

  5. Glad you finally were diagnosed–and sad at the diagnosis! My brother and husband both suffer with chronic health conditions, so I’ve seen the difficulties they face every day. But still, God is in control, and He’ll continue to keep you in His care. I’ll keep you in prayer!

As for posting, do what you need to do. I’m amazed at your dedication to consistency so far–I still tend to be hit or miss. Looking forward to future reads!

    Sarah-

I always enjoy your posts no matter when they happen. 🙂 I will be praying for you, and definitely keep writing despite the obstacles.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to comment and send private messages! I appreciate your prayers and words of encouragement more than I can say.
